Hi, I’m Christina Whitmer, and I’m proud to be a Customer Service Agent. I’ve been part of this team for over eight years, and every day I get to do what I love—help clients understand their coverage, make policy changes, and handle the unexpected with confidence and care.
My journey into insurance started while I was studying business at HACC and working full-time at PHEAA. After I graduated, I sent out my résumé, and thankfully, it ended up at Anthony Insurance. I started as an administrative assistant, got my insurance license just two months later, and I’ve been working with clients ever since. It’s been such a rewarding experience.
One of the things I enjoy most—besides helping our amazing clients—is mentoring and training new agents. I love being able to pass along what I’ve learned and help others grow in their roles.
There’s a piece of advice I often share with clients: “If you lend your car to someone and they get into an accident, it’s your insurance that’s responsible—not theirs.” It’s something a lot of people don’t realize, and I always encourage folks to be informed and cautious when it comes to permissive use.
If I hadn’t ended up in insurance, I could definitely see myself as an elementary school teacher or running an in-home daycare. I’ve always had a nurturing side and a love for working with children.
When I’m not at the office, I stay pretty busy with my family. We love being outdoors—camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and watching sprint cars at the dirt track are just a few of our favorite activities. One of my favorite local spots is Black n Bleu in Cumberland County, and I’m a big fan of shopping consignment sales—especially the ones hosted by 4 The Kids.
Whether I’m helping a client make sense of their policy or spending a weekend outdoors with my family, I always try to bring energy, heart, and a strong sense of leadership to everything I do.
