Hi, I’m Jennifer, and I serve as a Commercial Service Agent. What I love most about this role is getting to dig into the details—every business is different, and I enjoy learning what makes each client’s world tick. Building lasting relationships—with clients, underwriters, and fellow agents—is really where I thrive. There’s something so rewarding about tailoring coverage to fit someone’s unique needs and knowing you’ve helped protect what matters most to them.

My journey into insurance? It was a total leap of faith. I came from a background in restaurant management, and in 2019, I followed the Lord’s leading to join the Covenant team. At first, everything felt unfamiliar, but I knew in my spirit that this was exactly where I was supposed to be. And I haven’t looked back since.

One piece of advice I often share with clients is about insurable interest. If you’re a business owner, make sure your personal and business assets are separated—set up proper legal entities. It might not seem urgent at first, but it can make a huge difference if a claim ever happens.

Outside the office, I’m a passionate event planner and decorator—it’s where my creative side shines. If I weren’t in insurance, I could absolutely see myself as a nurse for the elderly, or maybe even a detective or prosecutor. I guess I’ve always been drawn to purpose-driven work.

My ideal Saturday? Either relaxing by the water or curled up at home with my kids. And coffee is a must! At home, it’s strong Café Bustelo with sweet cream. But when I’m treating myself? A caramel-loaded Starbucks drink with almond milk and a shot of espresso hits the spot.

I’m also a big reader—one of my favorite quotes is by Oscar Wilde: “It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.” That one always sticks with me.
