Melany Benitez

Hi, I’m Melany Benitez, and I’m an Administrative Assistant. A big part of what I do happens behind the scenes, but I’m always here to support both our team and our clients. What I love most about my job is helping clients who call in with problems—digging into the issue, figuring it out, and finding a solution is something that really gives me a sense of purpose.

One thing I’m especially proud of is being able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Being bilingual has allowed me to help our Spanish-speaking clients feel heard and understood, and that means a lot to me. It’s rewarding to be that bridge and to make a difference just by being able to connect.

If I weren’t working in insurance, I think I would’ve gone into nursing—helping others has always been close to my heart. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, I just want to make things a little better for the people around me.

My favorite quote is simple, but it keeps me going: “Just keep swimming.” It’s my reminder to keep moving forward, no matter what the day brings.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen! Cooking is one of my biggest passions. I love trying out new ingredients and getting creative with flavors. And when I’m not cooking, I’m probably eating at one of my favorite spots—Poblano’s. The food is incredible, and the people there make it even better.

I try to bring warmth, curiosity, and a helping spirit into everything I do. Being part of this team has been such a great experience, and I’m proud to play a role in making things run smoothly for our clients and coworkers alike.
