Nicky Sanderson

Hi, I’m Nicole Sanderson, and I’m a Commercial Service Agent. I love that my role allows me to support the daily operations that help keep everything running smoothly. The best part? I get to grow professionally while also helping others—something that truly aligns with who I am at heart.

I stepped into the insurance and risk management world looking for a career where I could learn, make a meaningful contribution, and be part of something bigger than myself. I’ve found all of that—and more—here at Covenant. I enjoy staying organized and being someone my team can rely on—whether it’s assisting with commercial accounts, helping businesses find the right solutions, or building strong relationships to meet their unique needs.

A fun fact that often catches people off guard: I was born in Japan! Although I’ve grown up and built my life in the York area, that part of my story is more of an interesting footnote than a driving force behind my perspective. Still, it’s a detail I enjoy sharing—it sparks curiosity and often leads to great conversations about where we come from and what shapes us.

Outside of the office, I stay busy with a few passions close to my heart. I serve in my church’s marriage ministry, and when I get quiet time, I enjoy cross-stitching and working on Tokyo Bunka embroidery—a beautiful and intricate Japanese art form that I’ve really come to love. I also enjoy exploring historical sites and relaxing by the ocean whenever I get the chance.

My mornings usually start with a sugar-free iced vanilla coffee, and when I’m out and about, one of my favorite local spots is Zimmerman’s Jewelers in West York. They have the most beautiful estate pieces, and I trust them completely for repairs.

I’d describe my work style as focused, collaborative, and service-oriented. Whether I’m managing commercial accounts, supporting businesses with their needs, or building strong relationships with clients, I aim to bring both professionalism and warmth to everything I do. I’m grateful to be part of a team where every contribution plays a role in helping our clients succeed.
