Phyllis Golicher

Hi, I’m Phyllis Golicher, and I’m a Customer Service Agent. What I enjoy most about my work is helping people really understand their insurance coverage—not just buying a policy, but actually feeling confident in what it means and how it protects them. I love being able to guide clients through the process and help them find the right fit for their needs.

My career in insurance started at Donegal Mutual Insurance, where I worked as an Executive Administrator in the Commercial Underwriting Department. That role gave me a strong foundation and a real appreciation for how complex insurance can be. It also sparked my passion for making that complexity easier for others to understand.

If I hadn’t gone into insurance, I think I would’ve pursued something creative—probably teaching art. I’ve always loved being creative and paying attention to the little details, and I bring that same mindset into my work. I’d describe my style as detail-oriented, organized, and conscientious. I like to make sure things are done right and with care.

My mornings usually start with a cup of Starbucks Pike Place—it’s my little ritual to ease into the day. And one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever received? “Kids break things.” It’s a simple reminder to stay grounded, expect the unexpected, and approach life (and challenges) with a bit of humor and a lot of patience.

Whether I’m helping someone protect their home, their car, or their family’s future, I try to bring clarity, compassion, and a steady hand to every conversation.
